About the firm

The law firm “Sokolov, Maslov & Partners” was established in 1992 and specialized on advising in various aspects of maritime law and adjacent areas.
Eventually the field of activity of our firm extended. During the last years we have transformed from a small firm with narrow specialization into a company, which provides its clients with legal services covering a wide range of matters. We have preserved our specialization in various aspects of maritime and transport law. However, apart from this, the firm provides legal services in a comprehensive scope of issues arising in commercial activity, such as establishment, reorganization, liquidation and bankruptcy of legal entities, insurance, transactions with real estate, etc. For several years our lawyers have been largely involved in issues of energy law, such as energy supply, exploration and development of oil and gas fields, transportation of oil etc. Lawyers and attorneys of the firm carry out transaction management, claim handling, and represent clients before arbitration courts and courts of common jurisdiction, international commercial arbitration, public authorities.
